For the last couple of weeks I have been testing the Samsung Reclaim which is available on Sprint. According to Samsung, 80% of the content of the Reclaim is from recycled materials. That is an impressive feat given that typically less than 50% of a phone can be recycled. The Reclaim is offered in blue and green. I have been using the Motorola Droid for almost a week. Here are my impressions:

Slick and Smooth are the two words that come to mind to describe the device. The sharp angles enable a comfortable grip in the hands and the slider keyboard is easy to use. To assist with web navigation – Motorola has incorporated a touch pad - which works effectively. The resolution from the 5 Megapixel still and video camera was impressive. Some customers may be able to ditch their camcorder and camera in favor of the integrated camera in the Droid.

We have used virtually every Android device on the market and can anoint the Droid as the best Android smart phone.

Earlier this year AT&T permitted its iPhone customers to use Skype over the iPhone provided it was connected to a WiFi network. Today, the carrier announced that it will permit VoIP calls on its 3G networks. This is a remarkable shift in AT&T's position in regards to VoIP.

Sanjay Jha of Motorola has taken the stage and is talking about some of the key market factors like one billion wireless broadband customers globally by end of 2009. The emphasis of the device is on social networking and over the air updates. We believe the Cliq will outsell the Palm Pre in the US in the fourth quarter of this year.
