Yeah fellas, you heard it right. Nokia has announced a new version of the Nokia X3 which is the first S40 device by the Finnish vendor to sport a bizarre combination of a touchscreen display and a keypad. This baby is christened as the Nokia X3 Touch and Type and will come with 3G and Wi-Fi support and an upgraded 5.0 MP snapper with 4x digital zoom. The display is also increased to 2.4 inch in the new Nokia X3 Touch and Type which was 2.2 inch in case of the old Nokia X3.
Other features include – MP3 player, FM radio, GPRS, Bluetooth, EDGE, expandable memory up to 16 GB and will offer a talktime of 5.5 hours. The handset will hit selected market in Q3 and will be retailed for around Rs 7,500 excluding taxes and subsidies. Also, in a few markets, the Nokia X3 Touch and Type might come with Ovi Unlimited Music service.
