tata indicom STD calling for just 30p/min with Tata Indicom’s Ulta Plan

The CDMA branch of Tata Teleservices – Tata Indicom – has launched ‘Ulta Plan’ for its new as well as existing pre-paid subscribers. The Ulta Plan offers STD calling at 30 paise-per-minute and local calling at 50-paise-per-minute.

Existing Tata Indicom subscribers can avail the Ulta Plan by buying a Special Tariff Voucher (STV) of Rs 26 which will provide them the benefit of making STD calls across the country for 30p/min for the first 600 minutes after which the STD calling will cost them 50 p/min.

For subscribers who will buy a new Tata Indicom connection, the Ulta Plan can be activated on their mobile devices by buying First Recharge Vouchers of Rs 58 and Rs 104 respectively which will grant a lifelong validity and the packs will also offer a talktime of Rs 32.58 and Rs 74.29 individually. New subscribers can make STD calls for 30p/minute for the first three months without having to buy the Rs 26 STV.

However, there’s a fair usage cap for each month. The first 600 minutes of STD calling every month will be charged at 30p/min, after which the STD call rates will be increased to 50p/min. Under the plan, messages (both local and STD) will be charged at 50 paise per SMS.

Tata Indicom’s Ulta pack can also be activated directly by users by sending a message ‘GET ULTA’ to 12524.
