The Samsung Champ aka Star Nano is all set to hit Indian shores cometh June. The Champ would be the cheapest touchscreen phone by the Korean vendor as it is expected to be retailed around for Rs 5,000 at the time of its launch.

Like we had expected, the Champ being the ‘nano’ version of the famous Samsung Star, features a stripped down camera and a smaller touchscreen display. It has got a 1.3 MP camera and a 2.4 inch touch-resistive display as compared to the 3.2 MP snapper and 3.0 inch touch-resistive display of the Star.

Sammy’s Champ also features TouchWiz Lite UI, Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm audio jack and support for microSD card. It will provide a talk-time of 12 hours and standby time of 660 hours. The Champ will come in deep black, espresso brown, sweet pink and chic white colour schemes.
