Workers strike at Nokia’s manufacturing plant in India
Work has been disrupted at Nokia’s manufacturing facility near Chennai in India as 1,200 workers continue to protest against the world’s largest handset vendor, reports WSJ. The strike is a retaliation from the workers after 63 employees were suspended from the facility. Nokia intends to resolve the issue and both the company and the worker’s union are expected to meet the Labour Commissioner of Tamil Nadu.
