Rumored Kurara officially named by Sony Ercisson as Vivaz
Sony Ericsson has officially announced its new smartphone, Vivaz, which will hit the markets in the first half this year.
The screen is 3.2 inches tall and weighs around 97 grams, pretty light isn’t it? After Satio, it is the second Sony Ericsson device to run on Symbian S60 fifth edition. The phone features an 8.1 MP camera with autofocus, image stabilization and face detection. Vivaz is built for 720p HD video recording.
The inbuilt memory is 8 GB with a scope to expand it up to 16 GB via microSD card. There is also a port for 3.5 mm audio jack. Vivaz will be available in three colours – Moon Silver, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue, and Venus Ruby.
The folks at Sony Ericsson say that Vivaz has followed Xperia X10’s human curvature form. However, we would have loved it more if the newbie had also followed its footsteps in terms of OS (and gotten Android). We’re still waiting for the first Android device by Sony Ericsson – the XPERIA X10.
