It took Vodafone India almost a year-and-a-half to run out of their stocks of the iPhone 3G and now their website is telling us that they will be replenishing their kitty with ‘new stocks’. 

In the meanwhile, there are no signs of the elusive iPhone 3GS, which was announced in the summer of 2009 and was supposed to be available in India a couple of months later.

So what could these ‘new stocks’ be? Would Vodafone simply go for the 8 GB version of the older iPhone 3G? Seems unlikely to us…
