Microsoft today announced a new feature for its application store for smartphones. Users will now be able to view applications from their PC’s by visiting http://marketplace.windowsphone.com/ and can even buy applications from the portal. The new applications will be downloaded on the user’s phone the next time the Marketplace app runs on the device. While Marketplace is available only on Windows Mobile 6.5 devices, Microsoft will be announcing more details of its availability on devices running Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 later this month.
