• HTC launches Touch2 in India to mark Windows Mobile 6.5 launch

    1

HTC has today launched the Touch2 smartphone, which is the first Windows Mobile 6.5 device in India. As with all HTC phones, the Touch2 also comes with a version of its TouchFlo UI. The phone will be available in India for approximately Rs 22,000, according to Ajay Sharma, country head for HTC in India.

The Touch2 has a 3.2 MP camera, A-GPS, 2.8-inch QVGA display and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. We have been playing with the device for a couple of hours now and find it very zippy. It is powered by a Qualcomm processor clocked at 528 MHz processor along with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM configuration.
