After introducing a one second pulse for calls, Tata DoCoMo today announced a per-character billing for text messages! The carrier will charge users one paisa per character for a text message with a maximum length of 15 characters. Tata DoCoMo users can download an application from its Dive-In WAP portal from where they can send these messages.
