MTS waives off processing fees on prepaid recharges, brings in per second pulse
New mobile carriers in India are taking the market by storm in a bid to acquire new subscribers on their networks. After Tata DoCoMo introduced its per-second billing, MTS has followed suit and upped the stakes. MTS has announced that users on its MTalk plan would get full talktime on recharges for life. The carrier would not deduct any processing fee, which most carriers levy on their subscribers.
MTS has also started a paisa per second local call rates, which is similar to Tata DoCoMo’s offering. MTS users can also get 50 percent discounts on their calls and 100 free text messages every day by paying Re 1 per day!
Wow! India already had one of the cheapest calling rates and with the arrival of new carriers, it is only a matter of time when we won’t be paying for making calls.
