Nokia, Sony Ericsson, HTC announce new smartphones!
It was a pretty hectic day with announcements flying thick and fast all over the globe. In Stuttgart, Nokia, as expected, introduced a new X-Series with X3 and X6, and also announced the N97 Mini that we all are familiar with.
Meanwhile, from London, Sony Ericsson announced the XPERIA X2, the second generation Windows Mobile device that will now run Windows Mobile 6.5.
Not to be left behind, HTC announced the Touch2 aka Mega that will be the handset vendor’s first Windows Mobile 6.5 device hitting shelves on October 6, when Microsoft launches the new OS.
I was busy covering Qualcomm’s India On event in New Delhi and those following us on Twitter would be clued in to some of the major announcements that took place there. While I recollect my thoughts and report more from the event, I thought it’d be useful to just point you guys to the official press releases about these new devices.
Rest assured, I’ll be sharing my opinions as soon as I recover from todays toe-breaking schedule.
