Barely a day after a press photo of the Nokia N900 was leaked and the N97 Mini got a thorough hands on, the blogosphere is abuzz with the first press phot of the N97 Mini.

It is more or less confirmed that Nokia is going to announce this N97 variant on September 2 but what could be interesting information is that the Mini version could be much better than the original N97. While its keyboard is no better, we are hearing that the Mini would actually have 280 MB free memory for apps and processes while the N97 had a paltry 50 MB. (Don’t confuse it with storage memory, folks.) If that’s the case, the N97 Mini might actually perform the way the N97 should have. Again a case of early adopters losing out on device performance.
