Moto’s Android plans laid bare!
It has been one of those days when over half-a-dozen unannounced phones decided to pop up and a friendly neighbourhood source in the industry stopped by to share some sizzling hot bits of insider dope. Yup, it has been a hectic day, to say the least.
Coming back to the point, we have just heard from a credible source that Motorola is planning to announce four Android phones as early as September. This is contrary to what we were earlier hearing that the announcements will take place closer to the end of the year.
But that’s not the end of it. We also hear that of these four, three will be launched in India along with their global availability, which possibly means that the missing one could be a CDMA device meant for a North American carrier.
And that’s not yet the end of it! We hear that Google is taking keen interest in the development of these devices as one of them’s gonna be an ultra-cheap (read ugly) device that will retail at about Rs 11,000 in India. Now that’s what Google meant when it said Android will bring smartphones to the masses.
P.S. one of the possible four Moto Android phones was leaked a few hours ago.Related posts:
