Remember the LG Eve GW620 we had first told ya about earlier this month? Well, it turns out that it will be LG’s first Android phone!

While there were some rumours about it running Android, we can now confidently confirm it. We have the phone’s user agent profile in our hands (see the screenshot on the left), which not only confirms its Android genes but also throws light on its QWERTY keyboard and 320×480 pixel WVGA display.

We are curious to find out whether LG would follow the sliding QWERTY keypad like the HTC G1 or will it be the first candybar Android-running BlackBerry challenger.

Well, we are sure that its announcement ain’t far off and should happen sooner than later.
