Back in September 2008, Sony Ericsson had announced a concept phone made out of recycled material, called the Green Heart.

“The GreenHeartâ„¢ is a full concept with all life cycle in mind it includes features such as bio-plastic housings, recycled plastic keypads, zero charger with 3.5mW standby power, HTML based e-manuals, a game style educational application ‘Ecomate’ and environmentally conscious packaging.”

Now, it seems, the company is ready to announce the first commercial handsets that have benefitted from the Green Heart concept it will announce on Thursday, June 4 via a webcast. We can’t wait to see what Sony Ericsson has in store for us!
