Nokia’s Ovi Store goes live worldwide!
We’d been getting feelers of the Store going live earlier in the day when users in a few countries indicated they could access Nokia’s version of the app store. And Nokia has now come out with a press release admitting that the Ovi Store is indeed live and that too, worldwide.
Ovi Store currently supports operator billing in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Singapore, Spain and the United Kingdom, while users in other countries can buy apps using plastic.
In a few countries, on-device Ovi Store app can be installed from the Download! folder found in all Nokia S60 and S40 phones. However, if your device doesn’t show the Ovi Store app (it isn’t available in India, yet), you can browse the store on your browser by pointing it to www.store.ovi.com.Related posts:
