Google had launched Latitude a couple of months ago as a mobile application that allowed you to share your location with your friends. Now Google has decided to take it a couple of steps further by announcing a new plugin that will enable even your readers to find out your whereabouts. Well, of course, you can hide your exact location and just show which city you are in and such.

Another addition to Latitude is the capability to show your location on Google Talk so that your friends can see where you are chatting from and even catch up for a face-to-face chat if they are in the vicinity. Well, both of these are little additions but we believe that it is often minor things like these that make a good product.
