Nokia patent crosses E71 with a swivel touchscreen!
What you see above might as well be the genesis of Nokia’s touchscreen version of the E71. According to a patent application with the US Patent and Trademark Office, this would be the first QWERTY keyboard handheld device that has a pivot display that swivels to reveal a wide touchscreen. To put things into perspective, think of the existing Nokia E71 with a display as wide as the phone’s length!
We ain’t sure how comfortable to hold it when the screen is revealed in all its glory, but we are sure that it will take web browsing and mobile gaming to a different level alltogether! Watch this space for more dope on Nokia’s E71 mutant.
