Outsource waiting in the iPhone 3G queue!
If our past experience is anything to go by, there will be long serpentine queues outside AT&T and Apple Stores on July 11 – D-Day when the iPhone 3G becomes available in the States. We can already imagine campers spending a couple of days with their gear, hoping to lay their hands on Apple’s latest shiny toy before it runs out of stock. So what do you do? Take a couple of days off from work and make a beeline outside these stores? Most of us will anyway do that but if you have a low patience threshold why not hire a personal iPhone 3G waiter?
An iPhone 3G what? A waiter – a guy who will wait it out for you to beat the rush so that you can swap places with him when its your turn! San Fransisco Bay Craiglist has already started witnessing postings from “Professional and experienced iPhone 3G waiters” like this one and we won’t be surprised that there are more in other parts of the country.
We wonder what Mr McCain and Mr Obama have to say about this version of local outsourcing?
