Exclusive: Emoze to launch Java push mail client at CTIA
Push e-mail won’t be a feature of smartphones and PDA phones any longer. Come April and Emoze will launch a Java client that will enable any J2ME phone to get push mail functionality. “The Java version will bring Emoze to a larger number of mobile phones. At the moment, we support around 70 to 80 smartphones and PDAs. The Java version will take this number to 800 devices world wide,†said Eitan Linker, CEO, Emoze, in a telecom with CELLPASSION. Emoze not only allows users to receive mails from their business e-mail addresses but also from popular ISP driven services like those from Yahoo! and Google.
