It seems that some one at S60 is listening to what we have to say. Barely a week after posting adebate on firmware upgrades, we have some good news to report. According to the S60 Multimedia Blog, firmware upgrades for the Nokia N82 will preserve all user settings and installed applications. Well, that’s one more point in my case as to why users should upgrade the firmware of their phones. That said, the blog also indicates that there is a firmware upgrade coming up for the N82 that addresses some stability issues. Mind you, we’d still suggest that you backup all information before going for that upgrade, whenever it comes.
